Chubby Little Elephants New Crochet Collection

I mentioned this before, but I still feel very certain that there are never too many elephants in the IraRott family. I am so happy to introduce my new friends – Josefina & Jeffery Chubby Little Elephants! This is the first pattern in my NEW Chubby Little Animals collection…I hope you like these cuties as much as I do.

Josefina is just about 9 1⁄2” (24.1 cm) tall and she is made from medium weight yarn (4)…I used Vanna’s Choice Yarn by Lion Brand. Her legs & arms are joined as-you-go, there are only a few seams for assembling the head. To finish Josefina, you will need 12mm safety animal eyes that are commonly used for Amigurumi style crochet.

Jeffery is a little taller guy as he is made from bulky weight yarn (5), his height is 12” (30.5 cm). Have you ever used Bernat Velvet Yarn? All I can say is – WOW I love this yarn…Yarnspirations did it again, their yarn is so modern and unique! You will only need half of a big (10.6oz) ball of main color Velvet yarn + a small amount of additional colors for ears & limbs. Jeffery’s eyes are 18mm in diameter. The lace ribbon bow looks so sweet on him!

My Little Chubby Elephants can stand on their own, but it is so much fun to play and carry them around as they are so small and versatile.
